With the expansion of the fields of use of nets such as household, marine, onshore and space, the specification requirements for nets have become complex and diverse. Materials are an important factor in developing nets that satisfy the specification requirements and we are developing products through the development of our original new materials and the trend survey of the material industry.
We have ever been successful in employing super high-strength fibers of the same net twine thickness to increase strength and the commercialization of the paper-made net that realizes the reduction of environmental burdens not only when in use but disposing.
NaLa is a new net shape simulation system which was developed in an industry –university collaboration with assistant professor Takagi of Kinki University.This system displays the entire shape of fishing gear in water which is practically hard to see and the changes of net shapes in optional current directions and at optional current speeds on youe PC monitor as 3dimensions dynamic behavior of fishing nets image by the numerical calculation allowing to analyze the volume of the net, the arrival depth of the net and the load to the ropes, etc.
This NaLA system allows us to supply the best suited fishing gears which we consider will meet the customers’ requirements by predicting and reproducing the shape of the net in water beforehand from the design stage of new nets or remodeled nets.
What kind of prior knowledge will be required to set up a trap net fishing ground or a fish farming ground? Knowing the ocean itself will be a minimum requirement for the fishing industry earning foods from it.
